Percy H. McNeill, 94, of Columbia, died Thursday, May 6, 2021. Born October 28, 1926 in Raeford, NC. He was a son of the late Everette William McNeill and Annie Elizabeth McBryde McNeill.
Mr. McNeill was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a proud United States Army Veteran who proudly served his country during World War II.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tressie Jo Granger McNeill; daughter, Ann Lovett (Thomas); daughter-in-law, Lisa McNeill; stepchildren Penny Baker, Vanessa Smith, Deborah Jordan, Tina Boan, Loretta Mixon (Lemuel); along with being blessed to have numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great greatgrandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. McNeill is preceded in death by his son, Stephen McNeill, and five siblings
A service for Mr. McNeill will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1715 Broad River Rd., Columbia, with The Rev. Chris Denny, The Rev. Stephen McNeill, The Rev. Kirk Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Rd., Lexington. The family will greet friends prior to the service at the church beginning at 12 o'clock. All are invited to attend; however, seating is limited, masks are required, and practices for social distancing will be enforced to ensure safety. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart of Hospice, 115 Blarney Dr. Ste. 204, Columbia, SC, 29223.
