Randall Francis "Randy" Drake, 71, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Born July 13, 1946 in Charlotte, he was a son of the late Francis Eli Drake and Doris Frye Drake. Randy had a large and loving family. He enjoyed NASCAR and motorcycles. Randy was a talented artist and very knowledgeable of cars and motors.

Survivors include his son, Taylor Martin; sisters, Phyllis Jacobs, Dolores Sprinkle, Gaye Phillips, and Charlotte Phillips; a brother, Berry Drake; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Randall Drake.

A graveside service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, July 23rd at First Baptist Church of Huntersville Church Cemetery, with Rev. Danny Griffin officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
