Mr. Raymond William "Bo" Peake, Jr., 60, of Elgin, died Wednesday, August 27, 20144. Born in Camp Lejeune, NC on May 9, 1954, he was the son of Barbara Shelley Peake and the late Raymond William Peake, Sr. A master automotive technician, he was co-owner of Peake Motors with his late father. Bo also worked with Clark Industrial and Southeast Industrial for many years as a shop foreman and forklift technician.

Survivors include his daughter, Tabitha Peake and fiancé, Michael Armstrong, II; a son, William Chevy Peake, Sr. (Jessica); grandsons, William Chevy Peake, Jr., and Gage Taylor Peake; mother, Barbara Shelley Peake; sisters, Sandra Peake Williams (Eddie), and Glenda Peake-Cook (John); a niece, Kelsey Peake-Teal. In addition to his father, Mr. Peake was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Peake Payne.

A funeral service for Bo Peake will be held at 12 o'clock, Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Jackson Creek Baptist Church, 7778 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, with The Rev. Dr. Walter Mack Burriss and The Rev. Steven Bouknight officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church prior to the service beginning at 11 o'clock.
