Mrs. Rebecca D. Steele's Obituary
Rebecca Glavaris Steele, 81, of Columbia, died Monday, September 9, 2019. A daughter of the late Gus and Irene Terezakis Glavaris, she was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio and married to the late Joseph W. Steele. Rebecca enjoyed cooking, movies, and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful, kind-hearted person and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Wilma (Sugie) Cupstid; her granddaughter, Rebecca Cupstid; and her brother, John Gus Glavaris.
A service will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery at a later date. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
