Rebecca "Becky" V. Smoak, 83, of Columbia, died on Monday, November 18, 2024. Born on August 15, 1941, in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Gary F. Vinson and Mary Elizabeth Dickert Vinson. She grew up in Columbia and was a graduate of Eau Claire High School. Mrs. Smoak was a devoted homemaker and matriarch of her household. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in White Rock, SC. Her joys in life were her family and her faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Janis S. Morton (Joseph) of Jamestown, SC and Angela S. Lowe (William) of Columbia; brother, Robert Andrew Vinson (Jean) of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Brittany Bingham, Lindsey Morton, Leah Bingham, and Rebekah Morton as well as a great grandchild, Lily Bingham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jan M. Smoak.

The funeral service for Mrs. Smoak will be held at 2 o'clock, Monday, November 25th, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 2081 Dutch Fork Rd, White Rock, SC with Reverend Megan Lineberger officiating. The burial will follow at the church cemetery located at 2335 Dutch Fork Rd, Chapin, SC.

The family will receive guests prior to the service in the fellowship hall at the church beginning at 1 o'clock.
