Obituary
Richard N. Myers, 76, of Waynesville, NC died Thursday, July 27, 2017. Born in Owings Mills, MD on April 29, 1941, he was the son of George Harrison and Anna Mae Turnbaugh Myers. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He retired from Delta Airlines after many years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Reter Myers; daughters, Wanda Click, and Wendy Eash; grandchildren, Christopher Click, Leigh Anne Flynn, and Jessica Eash; great-grandchild, Miranda Flynn; and a sister, Georgia Murphy.
A private service to celebrate Richard's life will be held in Maryland in October. Memorials may be made to Haywood Pathway Centers, 179 Hemlock Street, Waynesville, NC 28786. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, Columbia, SC, is assisting the family.
