Bob Moeller, 86 completed his earthen journey on April 5, 2017. Born in Melbourne, Florida on April 3, 1931 to Robert A. and Victoria B. Moeller, the third of five sons. Bob served four years in the Navy and graduated from The University of Florida marrying his wife of 58 years, Louise Johnson in 1959. He was immediately employed by Johns-Manville Corp, where he spent the next 26 years.

During his 52 plus years in Columbia he was extremely active in the community. He arrived in SC as a true "Florida Gator", but joined the chain crew at USC football games and ran the down marker for many years, as well as, running the chain crew for district II games at Harry Parone Stadium.

Bob was past president of the Columbia Touchdown Club and on the board of directors for 56 years. He served on the Richland County School District II board for 10 years. He was president of the Rockbridge Club and ran the kitchen serving 4th of July and Thanksgiving Club dinners.

He was president of Capital Roofing Co. and finished out his career as head instructor at the Carpenter Shop at Wil-Lou Gray Opportunity School.

Bob and Louise are members of St. Michael and All Angels' Episcopal Church, where he served on the Vestry and Endowment committees.

When they married they had five wishes: see the Rose Bowl Parade, go to a World Series Game, go to N.Y. For the Metropolitan Opera and Broadway plays and see Venice, Italy. They completed this list and much more.

Bob is survived by Louise, his best little pal Rusty, and his son Bryan (Beth) who resides in Lugoff.

The family will greet family and friends at a reception at St. Michael and All Angels' Episcopal Church on Monday, April 10th at 10 o'clock. The service will be held at 11:30 o'clock, with the burial following at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
