Robert H. "Bobby" Moore, 81, of Columbia, died Monday, February 15, 2016. Born June 23, 1934, in Junction City, Kansas, he was a son of James Moore and Daisy Whorton Moore.
Bobby attended Dentsville High School and served in the Navy for eight years following school. Bobby retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Men. He loved being around all his friends and family, having fun and making jokes, as well as trips to the beach and the lake.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Jane Smith Moore, of Columbia, SC; daughter, Pam Bishop, of Cheraw, SC; sons, Robbie (Cheryl) Moore, and Davis Moore of Columbia, SC; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Danny Moore, of Columbia, SC .

A celebration of life for Robert H. "Bobby" Moore, will be held 11 o'clock, Thursday, February 18th, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, with David C. Green officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening in the Christian Life Center of the church from 6:30 until 8:30 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
