Mr. Robert N. Kelley, 78, of Elgin, died Saturday, May 16, 2015. He was a son of the late Mathais and Opal Kelley. He was in the United States Air Force and fought in Vietnam. Robert served with the Air Force Thunderbirds. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for McDonald Douglas and Northrup Grumman Air Craft Corporations and retired from both companies.

He is survived by his sister, Theresa (Herb) Foster of Palo Alto, CA and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded by his wife, Clara, two sisters and a brother.

A graveside service will be held at 4 o'clock Friday at Pine View Baptist Church, 111 Pineview Church Road, Blythewood, SC with the Rev. Dean Reynolds officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel is serving the family.
