Robert John Labombard, 70, of Lexington, died on Monday, December 23, 2024. Born in Charleston, SC, on March 14, 1954, he was a son of the late Clifton E. Labombard and Carol Hugentugler Labombard. Mr. Labombard worked in the HVAC and deeply loved his family.

Survivors include Linda Frye; his children, Brandi Hornsby (William), Miranda Oswald, Bobby Jack "Bubba" Labombard (Lisa), Kelly Rye, Billy Causey Labombard (Candy) and Sarah Frye; grandchildren, Eric Vaughn, Faith Hornsby, Joscelin Hornsby, Brent Oswald, Ethan Oswald, Hunter Oswald, Peyton Oswald, Madison Labombard, Megan Labombard, Morgan Labombard, Jacob Labombard, McKinley Labombard, Kaylee Rye, Amarie Morris, Tamya Morris, Ashlynn Albergottie, Dayton Causey, Alyssa Causey, Ember Causey, Starla Frye and Celine Grandy; great-grandchildren, Dustin Whitlock, Kylie Whitlock, Payton Whitlock, Calie Labombard, and E.J. Oswald; siblings, Paula Meetze (David), Pam Sanders, and Gary Labombard (Regine). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances M. Labombard.

The funeral service for Mr. Labombard will be held at 3 o'clock, Sunday, December 29th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 2 o'clock. A graveside service and burial will be held at 10 o'clock, Monday, December 30th, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia.
