Robert Michael "Mike" Sharpe, 50, of Columbia, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Born September 23, 1963 in Greenville, SC, he was a son of James William and Carolyn Berry Sharpe. As a young man, he was a member of North Trenholm Baptist Church. Mike was the owner/operator of A Sharpe Heating and Air Company.

Survivors include his mom and dad, Mr. and Mrs. J. William "Bill" Sharpe; sisters, Melissa Starnes (Joel) and Kimberly Gibson (Michael); brother, Tim Sharpe (Rebecca); nieces, Jennifer Amesbury, Jamie Starnes, Brooke Sapp and Leigh Sharpe; nephews, Joey Starnes and Will Sharpe; great nephews, Austin and Ashtin Amesbury and Logan Harrison.

The funeral service for Mr. Sharpe will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, May 3rd, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia, with Pastor R. Joseph Copeland and Mr. Ray Ruff officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at noon.
