Robert Eugene Mundy, 67, of Eastover, died Sunday, June 3, 2012. Born in Rockingham, NC on July 22, 1944, he was a son of Bettie Davis Mundy and the late Ralph H. Mundy. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force, later working as a computer programmer and in the auto parts industry. He will be remembered as a loving son, father and grandfather and great grandfather.

Survivors include his mother of Columbia; daughter, Melanie L. Mundy of Columbia; sisters, Pat Mundy and Kay (Larry) Jackson; and great grandchildren, Jayla and Jayden Westbrook. Robert was preceded in death by his father and granddaughter, Christi Mundy.

The funeral service for Mr. Mundy will be held 2 o'clock, Monday, June 11, 2012, at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
