Robert E. Pratt, 96, husband of 56 years to the late Barbara S. Pratt, died Saturday, September 1, 2018. Bob was born on September 29, 1921, in Abbeville, SC, to the late Livy E. Pratt and Lazelle E. Pratt. He served in the Eighth Air Force during WWII with the 390th Bomb Group at Framlingham, England from 1943-1945. Bob later graduated from the University of South Carolina and was a retired Manager in the accounting department of the Southern Bell Telephone Company. He was a member and former Deacon of Shandon Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Beth Spigner of Columbia; son, Bobby Pratt (Pam) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Jenny Thompson (Corey) of Columbia, Fletcher Spigner, IV (Michelle) of Columbia, Charlie Pratt (Katie) of Ft. Mill; as well as his great grandchildren, Charlie Thompson, Fletcher Spigner, Mary Frances Spigner, Marie Spigner, and Jack Pratt.

There will be a graveside service for family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Shandon Presbyterian Church, 607 Woodrow St., Columbia, SC 29205.
