Robert Anthony "Tony" Ford entered into heaven Sunday, September 6th, 2015. Tony was his Daddy's best friend. He was loved by everyone he met.

Tony was born on July 28, 1969. He graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1987, and was employed by Omnisource. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Spartanburg, SC.

Tony is survived by his parents, Larry and Laura Ford of Elgin; wife, Rebecca Pitts Ford of Spartanburg; daughters, Grace Nicole Ford and Jesika Ford Hill (Ross), both of Spartanburg, and Kailia Ford Byrd (Justin) of Cheraw; sister, Tonda Ford Owens of Blythewood; and grandchild, Lawson Byrd. He was a beloved Uncle and Godfather. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Toni Nicole Ford.

A funeral service for Tony will be at 3 o'clock, Tuesday at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Exn., Columbia, with The Rev. Nancy Brazell officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 o'clock. The burial will follow at Royal Pines Independent Holiness Church Cemetery, 140 Wynette Way, Columbia, SC.
