Robert "Bob" B. West, 85, of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Born in North, South Carolina, on March 31, 1938, he was a son of the late Annie Clyde Wages and Felder West.

Bob was the loving spouse for over 60 years to Keith "Bill" G. Norville. Together, they flipped houses and invested in multiple different properties. Bob's love for tinkering and ability to fix anything was a great asset throughout the renovations. He graduated from Columbia High School and furthered his education in business administration. Bob had a passion for working. He retired after 26 years from Canron Railroad Group Tamper as lead electrical engineer. Bob was a calm, quiet soul who is loved and will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to his spouse, he is survived by his beloved fur baby, JB; siblings, Betty J. White and Felder Morris West (Judy); as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Annie Lea Brabham (Jim); mother and father-in-law, Mary and Keith Norville.

The graveside service for Mr. West will be held at 4 o'clock on Monday, June 12th, at Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC. Family will receive friends immediately following the service. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
