Robin Rebecca Chaplin, 55, of Columbia, died unexpectedly Thursday, August 25, 2016. Born in Columbia on June 17, 1961, she was a daughter of Edwin Marion Chaplin and the late Patricia Marion Rivers Chaplin. Robin was a 1979 graduate of Richland Northeast High School, and received her BA from Newberry College. Robin was co-owner of Design Time Advertising, and an active member of Northeast Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, William "Billy" Bullock; daughter, Carson Rivers Chaplin; sisters, Cheryl Chaplin Baucom (Tim) of Rocky Face, GA, and Tricia Chaplin Hirsch (Tom) of Matthews, NC; nieces, Bergen Baucom Aldahir (Philipe), and Ashlan Claire Hirsch.

A service will be held 2 o'clock, Tuesday, August 30th at Northeast Presbyterian Church in the Grand Hall with Dr. George D. Crow, III officiating. Burial in the church cemetery will be private. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock, Monday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. Columbia.
