Rodney "Rod" G. Dow, 76, of Lugoff, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Born on October 16, 1946, in Houlton, Maine, he was a son of the late Donald Clifford Dow and Waneta Stover Dow. He was a dedicated member of Blythewood Baptist Church in Blythewood, South Carolina and The First Baptist Church of North Conway, New Hampshire. Rod was a humble servant of God and lived his life serving his Savior and sharing the love of Christ. A caring, Godly man, he will be dearly missed by many.

Rod was a true outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping, woodworking and metal detecting. He took great pride in being a grandfather and spending quality time with grandson, Alex. Rod was a member of The Goldminer's Association and had a passion for antiquing. He pursued a career in hotel management and was a skilled electrician in New Hampshire.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Lynn Dow; grandson, Alex Lee Dow; brother, Clifford S. Dow of New Ellenton, SC; and many loving cousins.

Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
