Roldan Antonio Navarro, 72, of Blythewood, died on Monday, January 15, 2024. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he was a son of the late Matias Navarro Rivas and Victoria Antonia Jimenez. Mr. Navarro had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed woodworking, listening to music and loved to cook. He served in the US Army from 1972 until 1985

Survivors include his wife, Argentina Cordero Navarro; children, Kelvin Navarro Gonzalez (Mandy), Maria Lorio (Paul) and Ramon Navarro (Heather); grandchildren, Alexis Gonzalez, Fallon Gonzalez, Makaylin Navarro and Joseph Lorio; brothers, Nicolas Navarro (Nancy), Nelson Navarro (Marisela), Wilson Navarro (Sarah); as well as many loving extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edison Navarro, Luis Navarro and Victor Cabrera.

The service for Mr. Navarro will be held at 12 o'clock, Saturday, January 20th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 11 o'clock. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Ridgeway, SC.
