Ronald Cleveland "Clevie" Brazell, Jr., 66, of Lexington, died Monday, December 4, 2017. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Lizzie Redmond Brazell Wrightstone and Ronald Cleveland Brazell. Mr. Brazell was a US Army Veteran. He was employed with Michelin Tire, and later with the Pirelli Cable Corporation. Mr. Brazell was a member of Faith Baptist Church and served as an associate pastor.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Brenda Robinson Brazell; sons, Jonathan Daniel Brazell (Gina) and Gregory Lance Brazell; daughter-in-law, Nisha Sims; grandchildren, Aj'a Sims, Jayde, Lyn, and Henry Clayborn Brazell; sister, Lois Busby; brothers, Wes Brazell (Suzie), and Jody Brazell (Jackie); uncle, Douglas Brazell; and aunt, Janice Kramer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosetta Brunnemer.

The service for Mr. Brazell will be held at 10 o'clock, Saturday, December 9th at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Douglas M. Self and Rev. Milton Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow in Old Macedonia Church Cemetery, 8212 Old Percival Road, Columbia. The family will greet friends Friday evening from 5 until 7 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
