Ronald "Ronnie" Dale Donahue, 52, of Columbia, husband of Laurie Moore Donahue, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015. Born in Richland County, he was a son of the late Joe David Donahue, II and Bessie Lee Benton Donahue. A huge Gamecock fan, Ronnie was a loving son, husband, father and brother.

In addition to his wife, Ronnie is survived by his daughters, Amberly Elizabeth Donahue and Crystal Dale Donahue; son, Winston Tyler Donahue, all of Columbia; sisters, Joanne Eargle (Francis) of West Columbia, Sara Glenn (Tommy) of Gaston and Dorothy J. Mills (Waylan) of St. Matthews; brothers, David Manuel Donahue (Carol) of Elgin, Albert Donahue of Gilbert, and Rod Donahue of Columbia; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his parents, brothers, Louis Donahue, Joe David Donahue, III, James Michael "Jimmy" Donahue; and a sister, Louise Donahue.

The funeral service for Mr. Donahue will be held at 1:30 o'clock, Sunday, January 25th at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, with The Rev. Matt Rucker officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 o'clock. The interment will be held at 4:30 o'clock at the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery, Hampton, SC. Serving as pallbearers will be, Cody Watts, John Carter, John Harrison, Ricky Donahue, Roy Donahue, Tony O'Neal, and Louie Moore, Jr. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, SC Division, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
