Ronald Elton Wilson, 72, of Blythewood, died Sunday, November 27, 2022. Born December 22, 1949, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Elton Jones Wilson and Helen Gann Wilson. Mr. Wilson served in the SC National Guard and recently retired as a licensed residential and commercial builder. He was a talented carpenter whose talents were well known in the Northeast Columbia community. Mr. Wilson enjoyed being outdoors, farming, and tinkering on his tractor.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Wilson; children, Jeffrey Wilson ( Shelly), Shane Wilson (Kristen), Alicia Carroll, and Angelina Scipio; grandchildren, Lauren, Savannah, Trent, Weston, Natalie, Noah, Zane, and Zachary; sister, Lynn Nyland (Mark); brothers, Mark Joel Wilson (Erin) and Steven Wilson (Debbie), as well as a stepson, Christian Watson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Angela Hanna.

The memorial service for Mr. Wilson will be held at 2 o'clock, Thursday, December 1st at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Shives Funeral Home at 1 o'clock.
