Rosalee Hammond Raines, 91, of Ridgeway, died Friday, December 27, 2013. Born on April 21, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Emma Shirah Hammond. She was a member of Bethany Bible Church.

Mrs. Raines is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth, Bobbie, Linda, and Angela; sons, George and Donald; and many grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletis; daughters, Anita and Peggy; son, Marvin; sister, Agnes; and brothers, Gerald and James.

The funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Monday, December 30th, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Dr., Columbia, with The Rev. George Raines officiating. Burial will follow in the Raines Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 12:30 o'clock.
