Obituary
Roscoe Edward Smith, of Columbia, died Thursday, April 21, 2022. Born March 1, 1961, in Surry County, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Toni J. Smith and Mary Catherine Utt Escobedo. Roscoe enjoyed being outside and working in his yard and garden. He was employed at Target at their Distribution Center in Lugoff.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Annette Smith.
Survivors include his brothers, Dr. Mark U. Escobedo (Cherie) of Columbia and Michael Tony Smith (Fran) of Columbia; as well as his nephew, Josh Svoboda of Columbia.
Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
