Rozeller Frierson Chisolm, 92, of Columbia, South Carolina, died Thursday, September 19, 2019. Born in Greeleyville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Rother E. Frierson and married to the late John Chisolm.

Her husband John, being a career military man, led their family to live in many different places. Rose was a highly respected dietician for different military bases throughout the country and had a long career as the Chief Dietician for Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was born in South Carolina and will be buried in South Carolina, but her heart belongs to El Paso, Texas.

Rose gave birth to eight wonderful children. They include, Edna Louise "Anna", Catherine Jeanette, John Bowman, Patrick Eugene, and Angela Bernice; also surviving are her grandchildren, John, David, Michael, Tina, Pam, Linda, Kathy, Sheila, Valerie, Melonie, Chrystal, Jennifer, Tammy, Steven, Karon, John, Josh and John (Bo); and a sister, Virginia Hornsby. In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sons, William Dale and Donnie O'Neil; daughter, Deloris Marie; and one sister, Inez Culbreth.

A graveside service will be held 10 o'clock, Monday, September 23, 2019 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Steven Strickland officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
