Ruby Eunice Bradley Davis, 88, of Gilbert, SC, died Thursday, February 9, 2023. Born in Columbia on April 6, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Lee and Beulah Bachman Bradley.
Mrs. Davis was a 1954 graduate of Brookland Cayce High School where she played on the girls basketball team and competed in gymnastics. Her first job was at Zesto of West Columbia where she met the love of her life, Kindley Floyd Davis. Her most important and rewarding job; however, was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was the matriarch of her family and treasured the moments spent with each of them. Some of her most enjoyable memories were when her children were growing up. Mrs. Davis always opened her home to her children's friends and other neighborhood kids. She was a faithful Christian and had a deep faith in God. Mrs. Davis had the unique opportunity to spread the Word of God and completed three mission trips to Brazil. Even in her later years when she was unable to attend church she faithfully viewed First Baptist Church on TV every Sunday morning.
