Ruth Victoria Turkett, 90, of Winnsboro, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 10, 2017. Born in Winnsboro, on April 28, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Julian Lee and Mary Ellinger Turkett. Ms. Turkett retired from the Southern Bell Telephone Company with over 30 years of service, and was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Blythewood.

Survivors include her niece, Elizabeth Anne Spaeth (Tod); nephew, Mark Anthony Turkett (Jan); great nephew, Stephen Waters Jr. (Erin); great niece, Elizabeth Rose Spaeth; and great great niece, Layla Waters. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Annie L. Ratliff; and brothers, Jonathan L. and Julian E. Turkett.

The graveside service for Ms. Turkett will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday, December 16th, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Cemetery, 1729 Blythewood Rd, Blythewood. The family will greet friends following the service.
