Sandra Jenkins Brown, 66, died Friday, March 4, 2016. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Garnet Charles Jenkins Sr. and Mary Etta Reeves Jenkins. Mrs. Brown spent the better part of her life working in the medical field. She was a faithful member of Northeast Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday school, served as Church Secretary and Sunday School Superintendent. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include children, Mack A. Brown, Jr. (Kristy), Tammi Angevine (Chip), Stacey Ross (Gregg); grandchildren, Erica, Maggie, and Kristina Brown, Jackson, Alexis and Mackenzie Angevine, Martina, Makayla, and Bennett Ross; great grandchildren, Kayleigh Neese, Amani and Lliam Woods and Jordan Angevine; siblings, Marilyn Brown, Carolyn Smith (Art), Ronald Jenkins Sr. (Brenda) and sister-in-law, Eleanor Jenkins. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Mack Arthur Brown Sr. and brother, Charles Jenkins.

A funeral service will be held 12 o'clock, Monday, March 7th, at Northeast Wesleyan Church, 192 Sloan Road, Columbia, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
