Sandra "Sandy" Gail Lilly Johnson, 51, of Lugoff, died Thursday, October 5, 2017. Born October 6, 1965 in Petersburg, Virginia, she was a daughter of Patricia Watson Lilly and the late Curtis Ray Lilly, Sr.

Sandy was a strong, independent woman; a fighter, who refused to let life get her down. She believed in family and taking care of those she loved.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her daughter, Amber Gail Johnson, and son-in-law, Curtis Jamison; grandson, Don'Ta Jamison; sister, Mary Fox; and brother, Brian Lilly. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Lilly, Jr.

The funeral service for Ms. Johnson will be held 4 o'clock, Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7100 Garners Ferry Rd., Columbia, with Rev. Jeffery Horton officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 10th from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
