Sara Watts Faulks of Columbia, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Born in Georgetown, SC, she was the daughter of the late Everett Elias Watts and Carrie Oliver Watts. She was a proud graduate of Winyah High School, where she was a member of the basketball team, cheer leading squad, and pep band. She attended Limestone College and spent her entire adult life in Columbia, SC.

Sara was an avid tennis player and loved to read, travel, and spend time at the beach. She was a kind lady who devoted her life to the service of her Lord. She was undying in her devotion to her family and realized her greatest joy in providing for those in need. She was thankful and selfless, placing the needs of others above her own. A most dedicated and loving wife, she is now graciously and eternally united with her beloved husband and other loved ones.

Surviving are children of Columbia, Sherry Faulks Eaddy (Bill), Donna Faulks Moody (Billy), Susan Faulks Bowers (Robbie), Sarah Virginia "Deedi" Faulks, and Roy Lee Faulks, Jr. (Ann); sister, Deana Watts Langston of Surfside Beach, SC; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Roy Lee Faulks; sisters, Carrie W. Casey and Eloise W. Godwin; and brother, Everett E. Watts Jr.

Services for Mrs. Faulks will be held at 2 o'clock, Thursday, February 25th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3909 Forest Drive, Columbia, followed by a private burial. A reception for family and friends will be held from 5 until 7 o'clock, Wednesday, February 24th, at 4215 Woodleigh Road, Columbia, SC 29206. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
