Sara Sharpe Hallman, 84, of Columbia, died Saturday, July 22, 2017. A daughter of the late Roy D. Sharpe and Carrie Ella Taylor, she was born in Lexington County and was married to the late P. H. Hallman. Sara was a loving and fun mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed volunteering at Meals on Wheels, crafting with friends, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and loved ones. Sara was a proud great great grandmother and shared a warm smile and love with all she met.

Surviving her are daughters, Susan Hannah (Wayne), Terri Boltin (Watson); daughter-in-law; Frances Hallman; grandchildren, Paul Randall, Chris Randall, Michelle Baughman, Michael Hallman, Ashley Boltin; eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; brother, Jan Sharpe; and lifelong friend, Helen Johnson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Mike Hallman; grandson, Jake Boltin; sisters, Gladys Walling, Ruth Floyd, Vivian Sharpe; brothers, Everett Sharpe and Roy D. Sharpe.

A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Thursday, July 27th at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia with The Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. The interment will follow the service in Woodridge Memorial Park, Lexington. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5 until 7 o'clock.
