Ms. Sarah Elizabeth "Libby" Young, 77, of Lexington, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Born on April 7, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Alexander Young, Jr. and Sarah Crow Young.

She also found joy in gardening, tending to flowers, which reflected her artistic spirit and appreciation for beauty. She also enjoyed traveling to the mountains, the beaches and cruising. Libby was especially a talented cook and baker. If you were a friend of Libby's, you would get a beautifully baked pound cake when you had a birthday.
