Sharon Ann Scothorn, 57, of Columbia, died on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Born in Bristol Township, Pennsylvania on November 23, 1963, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Dooley Sisk and the late Barry Kent Scothorn.

Sharon was a devoted daughter, sister and mother. A graduate of Spring Valley High School, she went onto earn an associate degree from Midlands Technical College. Sharon was employed by Accu-Tec Accounting & Tax Services for the last 13 years. She deeply loved her family and enjoyed sewing and being a homebody. Her family and friends remember her as someone who always made others smile. Even if you were a complete stranger, Sharon went out of her way to make you brighten someone's day. Her laugh, smile, and jokes are something her family will always cherish. Sharon could light up any room she walked into.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her daughter, Jessica Thigpen (J.C); son, Robert Scothorn (Christy); grandchildren, Alex, Zach and Jeovanni; brother, Eddie Scothorn (Cathy); sister, Tammie Mclemore (Tommy); best-friend, Patty Floyd.

A celebration of life for Sharon will be held at a later date. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
