Sherry Faulks Eaddy died peacefully in her sleep on June 15, 2022. Born in Columbia, SC she was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Faulks and Sara Watts Faulks. Sherry was a graduate of A.C. Flora High School and a lifelong resident of Columbia and Debordieu Beach.
Sherry was married to the love of her life, William P. Eaddy for 56 years. Quietly and behind the scenes she helped her husband build Adams Eaddy & Associates, into one of the most successful insurance agencies in the state. Together they traveled extensively, especially enjoying their frequent trips to Florida and the Bahamas. Sherry was an avid reader and loved long walks on the beach, boat rides, crossword puzzles, and all animals (especially her schnauzers). She was thankful and selfless and found great joy in helping others. A loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, she was happiest surrounded by family and friends whether in Columbia, Garden City Beach or Debordieu.
Sherry is survived by her husband; sons, William Paul Eaddy, Jr. (Zan) and Ryan Faulks Eaddy (Katie); grandchildren, Anna Eaddy Townsend (Evans), Elizabeth McMillan Eaddy, Everett Elias Watts Eaddy, DuPre Allston Eaddy, Emma Graham Eaddy, and Grier Faulks Eaddy; great grandson, Henry Evans Townsend; sisters, Donna Faulks Moody (Billy), Susan Faulks Bowers (Robbie), Sarah Virginia "Deedi" Faulks, and brother, Roy Lee Faulks, Jr. (Ann). She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Services for Sherry will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 3 o'clock at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church, 3401 Trenholm Rd, Columbia. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel is assisting the family.
