Sherry Stanfield, 63, of Columbia, SC passed away on October 24, 2025.

Sherry was born in Columbia, SC to Thomas and Barbara Fish on June 7, 1962. Sherry enjoyed socializing, live music (especially Keith Urban), the beach, having a good time, but most of all spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and grand pups were her pride and joy.

Sherry is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Stanfield; parents, Thomas and Barbara Fish; brother-in-law, Marc Meddaugh I; uncle, Wayne Long; and former husband, Richard Stanfield.

Sherry is survived by her son, Brandon Stanfield (Jenna) of Charleston, SC; daughter, Brianna Fleming (Brandon) of Lugoff, SC; grandchildren, Connor and Ellie Fleming, and William Lancaster; grand pups, Britney and Jasper Stanfield; brother, Johnny Fish of Swansea, SC; sisters, Cindy Skipper (Ken) of Columbia, SC, Tammy Meddaugh of Blythewood, SC, and Donna Fish of Columbia, SC; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 2 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC 29223. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 5 until 7 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, for family and friends to gather. Burial will follow the funeral service at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209.
