Shirley Norton LeGrand, 81, of Columbia, died Thursday, July 10, 2014. Born November 4, 1932, in Clayton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Tate and Dovie Motley Norton. Shirley was a 20 year cancer survivor, and worked with her late husband, Marvin L. LeGrand, at LeGrand's Gulf in Forest Acres for many years.

Survivors include daughter, Diane L. (Wayne) Black; grandchildren, Bryan LeGrand, Michelle LeGrand, Justin Robertson, Eric Robertson, and Heather Cooper; great grandchildren, Bryanna, Daniel, and Nathalie LeGrand, Ashleigh, Noah, Cole and Aubrey Robertson; and siblings, Euber Norton, Edith Jaxson and Frances Thompson. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Norton; and son, Leonard H. LeGrand.

A graveside service for Mrs. LeGrand will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, July 13th, at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service.
