A funeral service for Shirley Ann Rimer Watts, 71, of Blythewood, will be held at 11 o'clock, Friday, October 25th at Sandy Level Baptist Church, 408 Blythewood Road, Blythewood. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Thursday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.

Shirley left to be with her Lord Monday, October 21, 2013. Born in Blythewood on April 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Conder T. and Lois Boney Rimer. For many years she taught pre-school at Sandy Level Baptist Church and Weekday Education at North Trenholm Baptist Church. Shirley's greatest love was that of her husband, sons, grandchildren, working with children and all her family. She loved her friends and they loved her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, William Robert "Bobby" Watts; sons, Michael A. (Michelle) Watts, Gregory W. (Rebecca) Watts; two grandchildren, Courtney A. Watts and William M. Watts; sisters, Ruth R. Hughes of Columbia, Jane R. (Daniel) Fulmer of Blythewood; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Conder T. Rimer, Jr.
