Obituary
Stephen Robert Hunt, Sr., 66, of Irmo, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 surrounded by his family. Born July 22, 1946 in Mansfield, Ohio, he was a son of the late Eloise Harball Campbell. Mr. Hunt proudly served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria Carman Hunt; sons, Stephen R. (Debbie) Hunt, Jr. of Niles, OH, H. Michael (Sonya) Drew, of Elgin; daughters, April (Dwayne) Peters of Niles, OH, Robin Drew Coogler of Irmo, Suzanne (Brian) Hunt-Worrix of Canada, KY; a sister, Margie Kay (John) VanGorter, of Streetsboro, OH; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, SC Division, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
