Henry Stephen "Steve" Kane, Jr., 65, of Columbia, died Saturday, April 12, 2014. Born in Columbia on May 16, 1948 he was the son of Helen Giles Kane and the late Henry Stephen Kane, Sr. Steve was a graduate of The University of South Carolina, was a US Air Force Veteran, and retired from DHEC.

Survivors include his mother of Columbia, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Steve's service will be held at 5 o'clock, Tuesday, April 15th at Capital City Baptist Church with The Rev. Paul Monroe officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Capital City Baptist Church, 2243 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29206.
