Susan Law Love, 51, of Blythewood, died Thursday, September 11, 2014 surrounded by her family. Born March 10, 1963, in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of Theodore Wannamaker Law III and Mary Martin Law. Susan was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a part of the praise team. Her home was always a safe haven for many kids and teenagers.

Survivors include her husband, David Love; her parents of Columbia; daughters, Beverly Covert (Eric) of Leesville and Lauren Love (Nikki Bingham) of Columbia; grandchildren, Charles Akridge, Adrianna Covert and Nicholas Covert; a brother, Theodore W. Law IV (Joan of Elgin; and sister, Laura Gary (Bill) of Decatur, GA; as well as many other children that she lovingly took under her wing and cared for.

The funeral for Mrs. Love will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, September 13th, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, with The Rev. Dr. James W. Thompson, III officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park's Serenity Gardens. Mrs. Love will be placed in the church at 10 o'clock. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Friday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia.
