Obituary
Susan Renee Medlin, 65, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Born in Columbia, South Carolina on January 22, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Leonard Medlin and Annie Ruth Kelly Medlin.
Ms. Medlin was an avid animal lover; she especially adored kittens and horses. Susan is fondly remembered for her kind-hearted, gentle soul that brought joy to all of those around her.
Survivors include her beloved brother, Richard "Rick" Medlin; dear friend, Robert Walker; as well as many loving cousins.
The funeral service for Ms. Medlin will be held privately. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Columbia, SC. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
