With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tammy Lynn Acierno-Armstrong, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, twin sister, and friend. Born on February 8, 1970, in Bowling Green, Ohio to Thomas Carol Acierno & Katherine Jean Acierno, Tammy's life was a testament to resilience, love, and the unyielding power of family. She passed away on January 4, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.
Tammy was an incredible mother who worked tirelessly to provide her family with the life they deserved. Her children, Remington Keller Armstrong and Spencer Keegan Armstrong, were her greatest pride, and her unwavering love will remain their guiding light. She shared a deep bond with her husband, Aaron Scott Armstrong, and together they built a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
Tammy's strength was extraordinary, facing life's challenges with grace, determination, and an unbreakable spirit. A true social butterfly, she had a gift for bringing people together, fostering connections, and creating joy. Whether planning gatherings to fill a room with laughter or offering encouragement as a mentor and friend, Tammy's kindness and positivity left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
She is survived by her children, Remington and Spencer; her husband, Aaron; her father, Thomas; twin sister Tiffany Acierno-Latka; devoted cousin Jennifer Blackwell; and countless friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Stephen Charles Acierno; grandmother, Mary Ellen Acierno, grandfather, Willard Timmons; grandmother, Pauline Timmons and mother, Katherine Jean Acierno.
Tammy's legacy is one of love, strength, and compassion. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A time to gather and celebrate Tammy's life will be held from 5:30 until 7:30 pm, Wednesday, January 8th, at the Clubhouse of Cobblestone Park, 1298 University Pkwy, Blythewood, SC 29016. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
