Tayler Marie Dunaway, 17, of Blythewood, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Born in Columbia, Tayler was the daughter of Brandy Dunaway. A rising senior at Blythewood High School, she loved animals and participated in Special Olympics. Tayler was a loving angel who always had a smile on her face.

Survivors include her mother, Brandy and father Paul Dean both of Blythewood; brother, Brandon Dunaway; grandmother, Kathy Lee and Harry Berry of Blythewood; grandfather, Tom (Barbara) Lee of Keysville, GA; aunts, Tammy Lee, Brooke (Scott) Branham, Ashley (Brian Schnider) Conyers and Katherine Conyers all of Blythewood; great-grandmother, Carolyn Lee; cousins, Allison and Wyatt Proveaux.

The funeral service for Tayler will be held at 2 o'clock Friday, August 10, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 90 Boney Road, Blythewood, SC with The Rev. Dr. Cathy Jamieson-Ogg officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Thursday evening at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
