Tayshun Antoine Swearington, 2, of West Columbia, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Born December 21, 2010, Tayshun was a source of joy for all who knew and loved him, and he will be missed tremendously by his family and friends.

Tayshun was preceded in death by his great-aunts, Delois and Rosalee Haynes; and his great-grandfather, Earvin Haynes. Left to grieve his memory are his mother and father, Sabrina Haynes and Timothy A. Swearington; step-father, Joshua Hopkins; great-grandmother, Williamenia Haynes; great-aunties, Pricillia Haynes, Queen E. Richardson; great-uncle, Leon Haynes; aunties, Sergina White, Latavia Haynes; uncles, Jadarries Marques, Jackie, and Nicholas Dickerson; two older brothers, Curtis Bovain and Timothy "T.J." Swearington, Jr.; and a host of cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Jason Stern and the staff of Shives Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 12 until 2 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Dr., Columbia, SC, with a private burial service to be held at a later time.
