Terrence "Terry" Anthony Paulsen, 58, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. Born on July 12, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Mary Jane Ross Paulsen and the late Peter Paulsen.

Terry was married for 30 years to his high school sweetheart, Tina Ann Paulsen. The couple met on Tina's first day of high school in Florida. They've enjoyed a total of 41 years together, or as Terry would say, "too long!"

He was a jokester and someone who never met a stranger. Terry was sure to keep a smile on the faces of those around him. He enjoyed fishing and sports in his free time. His greatest passion in life was coaching his son, Anthony, in baseball.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by son, Anthony Peter Paulsen (Katey); grandson, Luke Anthony Paulsen; brothers, Neil Paulsen, Sean Paulsen, and Darren Paulsen; sister-in-law, Melissa Bello (Eric); nephew, Jake Bello; nieces, Alexsandra Bello and Brianna Bliss. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by sisters, Charlene Paulsen and Judy Bliss (Anthony).

The funeral service for Mr. Paulsen will be held at 11 o'clock on Thursday, February 24th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. Columbia, SC 29223.
