Terry Daniels, 53, of Columbia, went to his heavenly home Friday, January 22, 2016. Born December 12, 1962, in Columbia, he was a son of Shirley Livingston Daniels and the late John Clifton Daniels. Terry attended Columbia Christian School, Columbia public schools and the Columbia Orthopedic School where he was in advanced classes. Although stricken with Muscular Dystrophy, with the love and care of his parents and family, Terry fought a good fight for more than 35 years while on a ventilator. He was an avid Gamecock fan, who had collected numerous memorabilia over the years. His voice will now be heard cheering the Gamecocks. Mr. Daniels was a member of Ravenwood Baptist Church of Columbia.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley L. Daniels; brother, Duane Daniels, and his "favorite" sister, Janet McCabe (Tom); niece, Erin Daniels and nephews, Tyler and Trent Daniels.

The funeral service for Mr. Daniels will be held 1 o'clock, Tuesday, January 26th at Ravenwood Baptist Church, 3545 Raven Hill Rd, Columbia with The Rev. Larry Shull officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garner's Ferry Road, Columbia. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Ravenwood Baptist Church, 3545 Raven Hill Rd, Columbia, SC 29204, or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2700 Middleburg Dr, Columbia, SC 29204. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
