Terry Dewayne Seawell, 30, of Columbia, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. Terry was born on July 26, 1992 and was the son of Gary Coy & Robin Seawell and Melinda Sue Enix.

Terry was a proud graduate of Spring Valley High School where he lettered all four years in football. He was an avid Gamecock fan and always enjoyed watching Saturday football games. In his spare time, you could find Terry umpiring a North Trenholm Baptist Church baseball game. Terry had a big heart and loved everyone fiercely. He was the loving father of his two daughters, Aribelle Marie and Adalynn Mackenzie Seawell.

In addition to his parents, Terry is survived by his daughters; Aribelle Marie Seawell, Adalynn Mackenzie Seawell; siblings, Breanna Seawell (Aydan Fields), Carmon Seawell, Jett Seawell, and Bruce Allen Jackson (maternal); grandparents, Carolyn Seawell, Simon and Darnell Smith, Glenn and Alma Miller; aunt, Tracy Grooms (Chris); uncles, Perry (Devin) Smith, Robbie Seawell (Kim), Cal Seawell (Pam); and many loving cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfather Carroll Seawell.

The memorial service for Mr. Seawell will be held at 2 o'clock on July 23, 2023 at North Trenholm Baptist Church, 6515 North Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC 29206. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel is assisting the Seawell family.
