Thelma Mildred Button's Obituary
Thelma M. Button, 90, of Columbia, died Friday, December 22, 2017. Born to the late Herbert Oakley and Dorothy Synder Oakley, in Clarks Summit, PA, she was a homemaker and mother.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeanette Smith of Columbia, Susan Darrow (Evan) of Toms River, NJ; and brother, Louis Oakley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 5 brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held eleven o'clock Friday December 29 at Capital City Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Capital City Baptist Church, 2243 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29223. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel is assisting the family.
