Thomas (Tom) Parker Davis, Jr., 83, of North Myrtle Beach, formerly of Columbia, died on Friday, December 2, 2022. Born in Columbia, SC on February 22, 1939, he was the son of the late Thomas Parker Davis, Sr. and Nettie Stallings Davis.
Mr. Davis was a member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, graduate of Eau Claire High School, class of 1957, Presbyterian College and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was known as a "Jack of all trades". He was a gardener and loved by all.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Cox Davis; sons, Parke Davis and Joey Davis (Rachelle); daughters, Lisa Huff and Susie Matthews (John); and step-daughters, Krista Englehardt (Malik) and Mara Englehardt; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nephew, Alex Maximov; and niece, Julie Maximov. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Rachel Hawkins Davis; and a sister, Dale Davis Maximov.
The graveside service for Mr. Davis will be held at 2:30 o'clock, Friday, December 9th, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia. The family will greet friends following at the graveside. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
