Obituary
Thomas Allen Lee, 76, of Lexington, passed away March 30, 2020 at Lexington Medical Center. He was born August 28, 1942 in Aiken, to the late James Newton and Ardelle Dykes Lee.
Tommy grew up in Columbia. He was a veteran of the US Navy and an active member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Tommy worked as a master mechanic and machinist for many years before his retirement.
Tommy married Joyce Provo in 1965 in Columbia. They were happily married for 50 years until her death in 2016. He enjoyed drag racing, bowling, baseball and going to the auction.
Tommy is survived by his children, Tommy Lee and his wife Deborah of NE Columbia, Tony Lee and his wife Gail of Redbank; grandchildren, Michael, Robin, Lauren, Justin and Shannon; great-grandchildren, Emily Lee, Hunter, Haylee, Holee, Jesse (US Navy, currently at sea), Leander, Darrel, Diesel and Angel.
In light of the Novel COVID 19 Virus, services for Mr. Lee will be private. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Red Bank Baptist Church, Men's Ministry, 1357 S. Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29073.
