Thomas Paul Wood, 64, of Columbia, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 and is now in his eternal home with his Lord and Savior. Born March 19, 1949 in Albion, OK, he was a son of Geraldine Lett Wood and the late Leonard Wood. A US Army veteran of 22 years, Mr. Wood proudly served two tours in Vietnam. After his retirement from the military he went to work with Terminix for 18 years and was a member of North Columbia Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Wood; daughters, Kaye (Terry) Bozeman of Columbia, Angela Wood of Columbia; brothers, Dean (Sharon) Wood of McAlester, OK, Larry (Lynette) Wood of Artesia, NM, Roy (Charlotte) Wood of Tuskahoma, OK; grandchildren, Austin, Cara and Katelyn.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 o'clock, Tuesday, April 16th at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia with The Rev. Walter E. Parham and The Rev. Jeffery Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:30 o'clock.
